We've had so many exciting changes in the last few years at Dakota Square Mall, including the addition of Ross Dress for Less & T-Mobile as part of the Herberger's redevelopment as well as new tenants Party City and HomeGoods joining the property. We're excited to continue to see change in 2021 + 2022 with Scheels announcing their relocation + expansion .. and a few more additions we have up our sleeves. But first, let's take a look at the changes that have already happened in the past few years ...


September 2018 | Party City opens at Dakota Square Mall with an exterior entrance. Read the press release announcing their opening here.

April 2019 | HomeGoods opens at Dakota Square Mall, connected to the T.J. Maxx building in the north parking lot.

October 2019 | Ross Dress for Less opens at Dakota Square Mall as the first phase of the Herberger's redevelopment. Read the press release announcing their opening here

January 2020 | T-Mobile opens at Dakota Square Mall as part of the Herberger's redevelopment. Read the press release announcing their opening here

February 2021 | Scheels announces plans for relocation and expansion to the former Sears location at Dakota Square Mall. This will provide the store with over 100,000 square feet of retail space, with an expected completion date in 2022. Keep checking back here as we make updates of their construction progress!
